1st Lt Felipe A. Sanchez, 42, U.S. Air Force, born in Mexico October 23, 1980, passed away from cancer June 5, 2023. In 2010, Sanchez left his career as a school teacher with the Pasadena Independent School District to defend our country. During the Global War on Terror, he was a Response Force Leader with 147th Attack Wing Security Forces Squadron. There, Sanchez developed and implemented security procedures to ensure his base's entry control, weapons systems, and various other resources were protected at all times. Fly high, Airman!
