Memorial Bracelets: Our Ongoing Tribute to Fallen Heroes
What is a Memorial Bracelet?
So, what exactly is a Memorial Bracelet? It is a thin piece of Aluminum or Steel that bears the name, rank, branch of service, and other personal details of someone who has passed away. These bracelets remind the families and friends who have suffered a profound loss that their Hero will always be with them. These bands urge us to embrace life to its fullest and Honor our Fallen Heroes in the best way we know how. As we carry forward the legacies of those who departed too soon, these bracelets remind us that our Heroes will never be forgotten.
For many of us, these bracelets offer solace and help us stay close to our lost friends, brothers, sisters, parents, sons, and daughters, serving as beacons for others. They allow us to share our stories and lives with those around us. The bracelets allow us to declare, "My Hero lived, and they continue to live through us."
Often, we associate Memorial Bracelets solely with those who perished in combat, failing to acknowledge the thousands lost to the war wounds they carried home. Our nation grapples with an epidemic of veteran suicides, a crisis that we at Til Valhalla Project actively combat by providing therapy for struggling veterans.
Our Heroes paid the ultimate sacrifice—a sacrifice beyond the comprehension of many.

The Journey Of Our Memorial Bracelets
Memorial Bands or “Memorial Bracelets” quickly joined the product line of Til Valhalla Project in 2017. On May 19th, 2016, tragedy struck when Corporal Benjamin Dunston, a dear friend of our founder Korey, took his own life. This heartbreaking event unfolded approximately a year after they departed from the Marine Corps.
Cpl Dunston had been an exceptional leader and supportive in Korey's life, treating him respectfully and kindly during their time together. The devastating impact of Dunston's suicide led Korey to reflect on his friend's legacy and sparked a profound desire to keep his fallen brothers memory alive. Initially, Korey began crafting memorial plaques to commemorate Dunston's life, intending to keep one for himself. However, realizing the family had no such tribute, he selflessly presented the plaque to Dunston's mother. In return, she sent him a memorial bracelet, a gesture that deeply resonated with Korey. His mission surged with life.
Korey recognized the power of carrying his Hero's memory wherever he went and saw an opportunity to enhance and expand upon this concept. Using the same equipment he had used to create the memorial plaque, Korey quickly etched designs onto the bracelet to prove a concept, and this marked the beginning of his journey to ensure that when a Hero passed, their memorial band would fund the plaque of another Hero. Heroes helping Heroes. Today, we have helped millions of individuals preserve the legacies of their Fallen Heroes, ensuring that their memory lives on in the hearts and minds of those who carry these cherished mementos.
How to wear your Memorial Bracelet?
If you are here today because you recently lost someone you care about, please know that we here at Til Valhalla Project share in your grief and are deeply sorry for your loss. We Honor you and your loved one as you strive to continue without them.
After you receive your bracelet, the question arises: how should you wear it? These bracelets are crafted from aluminum or steel, requiring careful handling when shaping them around your wrist. Ensuring a secure fit is vital to prevent any undesirable slipping. Overbending weakens the band, so when removing the bracelet, gently slide it off without further stretching it, thus avoiding weak spots. Your wrist should glide effortlessly in and out of the bracelet without causing any damage.
