      PO1 Vincent M. Allsup, 34, of Rochester, passed away Tuesday, May 15th, 2018, at his barracks residence in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. On May 22nd, 1983, Vince was born in Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Rochester, New York as a teenager, where he graduated from Lourdes High School in 2002 before joining the navy on June 2nd, 2002.
      On March 24, 2011, he married Kimberley L. Allsup in a courthouse wedding in Bend, Oregon, and took her last name. Before then, the Allsups had been stationed at NIOD Groton, Connecticut, before 2016 and at NRS Bay City, Michigan. Vince had duty stations at Diego Garcia, BIOT; Yakuska, Japan; Sugar Grove, West Virginia; and Pensacola, Florida.
      PO1 Vincent Allsup will be deeply missed by his wife, Kimberly; stepdaughter, Kassandra; stepsons, Dominic and Donovan; daughter, Jordin; parents, Robert C. "Bob" and Susan M. "Sue" (Larsen) Baker; sister, Tracy A. (Gary) Baker; brother, David R. (Jessica) Baker; nieces and nephew; grandmothers, Imelda Baker (Shemek) of Omaha, Neb., and Mary Joan (Tracy) Larsen of New Hope, Minn.; aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandfathers Robert D. Baker and Richard C. Larsen; and uncle James P. Baker.
      Vince loved the Navy and shooting, valued his family above all else, and respected his Native American heritage. He grew up in a military family - it was a logical decision for him and his brother to enlist after September 11th.
