SPC Willis L. Reed Jr., 52, Arkansas Army National Guard, born November 10,
1970, passed away on September 22, 2023. Reed first served as a Combat
Signaler during Operation Desert Storm. He was again called to active duty and
deployed to the Middle East for Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom
as a Signal Support Systems Specialist with 296th Medical Company. There, Reed
installed and maintained communication equipment to relay information needed
for our troops on the battlefield to accomplish their mission. Rest easy, Soldier! Til
