SPC Brian Rooney Jr., U.S. Army, born in Pennsylvania June 15, 1989, passed away from service-related cancer on December 19, 2023. Rooney was a Unit Supply Specialist with 18th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 16th Sustainment Brigade, and deployed to Iraq. There, he helped supply our troops with everything they needed before conducting any operation. Rooney was a gifted athlete who knew the importance of teamwork. He is remembered for his inviting nature and ability to quickly turn strangers into friends. Rest easy, Soldier! Til Valhalla, Brother!
