In Memory OfOfc Anthony J. Francone

Ofc Anthony J. Francone, 48, Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Police Department (PLPTPD), born in Nevada December 25, 1974, was killed in the line of duty on August 25, 2023. Before joining the PLPTPD, Francone served over 25 years with several Nevada Sheriff's Offices and Police Departments, most notably, Storey County S.O. There, he earned a Medal of Valor for saving a person from a burning vehicle. In addition to his law enforcement duties, Francone was also a volunteer Wildland Firefighter and EMT.
