In Memory OfENCM Edwin E. Durr

ENCM Edwin E. Durr, 67, U.S. Navy, born January 9, 1948, passed away in a motorcycle accident on September 3, 2015. Durr served as an Engineman on the USS Washtenaw County (LST-1166). During the Vietnam War, he maintained the ship's diesel engines as it transported troops, vehicles, and supplies to the Mekong Delta. Durr truly loved his fellow veterans and volunteered with the VFW and American Legion Riders to help out however he could. He was a selfless and charitable man whose absence is felt by all.
